Thanks for shopping at The Junkyard! I hope you find my wares useful.
I am very partial to all vintage aircraft but especially warbirds. I try to cover subjects that are not yet covered by other builders/programmers, but are needed by the flightsim community.

Gauge Install Instructions:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1. Unzip the archive directly into the 'Gauges' folder inside your main CFS (or FS2k, or CFS2) folder.
2. Using CfgEdit/FSPanelStudio or Notepad (or whatever you use to build panels) place the gauges in the desired locations.
* I recommend using CfgEdit or FS Panel Studio by Ed Struzynski for almost all of your panel building needs. CFGedit is available at www.cfgedit.com . The best thing...it's freeware and it works great! If you're working with FS2002, FS Panel Studio adds full support for the new XML gauges used by that sim.
A few notes on my gauges:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
--I am coding and building them using Visual C++ 5.0 Pro and a modified FS2000 gauges SDK.

--All gauges built in the FS2000 format are "nested multi-gauges" just like the stock M$ gauges from CFS1 and newer. To use them, you need to declare which subgauge you intend to use with an (!) after the main gauge filename.
Example: The CFS1 P47d's main gauge is called P47d.gau. If you want to use the Manifold Pressure gauge from it, you need to call it using this convention in your panel.cfg... P47d!Boost_Pressure

--All reciprocating engine gauges (unless otherwise noted) are built to operate with a CFS1 or newer airfile with the Section 505 engine in the airfile. If you try using them on an old FS98 airfile with only the Section 500 engine they will probably not work, or they will read inaccurately. This is just my own way to "silently protest" reusing the older airfiles in the newer sims. :-)

Thank You section:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I have to give a very large round of applause to Dai Griffiths for his excellent gauge creation tutorial series. And also a big thank-you to all the gauge-building veterans like Arne Bartels, Daniel Steiner, Fred Banting, Chuck Dome, and many others who have put up with my sometimes silly questions as I learn this gauge-programming stuff.
If you're interested in trying to build your own gauges, Dai's tutorials are available over at www.SurClaro (probably elsewhere too!). Search for files called sd2gauXX.zip, where the 'XX' is the current version number. As I write this, sd2gau12.zip is the newest and the last of the series covering the FS2000 gauge format.
See the gauge-specific ReadMe file for copyright details. Or you can right-click the gauge file and select 'properties' to view the info.
Many of my gauges are now released into the public domain, but not all...check the copyright info please.
